A rarely seen sofa by Hans Wegner for AP Stolen in a beautiful warm teak. Designed in the early 1950s, the subtle curves that join the armrests to the backrest make it instantly recognizable. The most iconic aspect of the sofa are the carved wood "handrests" that are reminiscent of his famous Papa Bear chair. Also available as an easy chair, which is also known as the "Mini Bear". The turned legs that splay outwards and along with the "handrests" are solid teak. The original wool is in excellent condition and was rarely used in its 60+ years. The legs and handrests are also in unbelievable condition. As with all of Wegner's designs, this sofa looks amazing from all angles and would suit virtually all modern living environments.
